Hey, my name is Omar Ezz and I'm a Business and Mechanical Engineering dual degree student at the Ivey Business School and Western University in London, Ontario! I enjoy rugby, wrestling, photography and music. I also love the outdoors and try to go camping and scuba diving as often as possible. I have been a part of the fantastic H4H team since 2013 and have loved every moment of it. The reason I joined H4H is because I love the fact that my efforts can save a child's life and give them a future full of hope and possibilities! I want to do anything I can to help people in need and being part of the wonderful team at H4H allows me to do so. Working with H4H for the past few years has been an amazing experience and I’m excited to continue my involvement with the charity.
Hi there! My name is Matthew Kovacs, and I am a third year Medical Sciences student at Western University! I was born and raised in London, and attended CCH for high school. If you have to bet on one place to find me, it would probably be on the tennis courts! I am a teaching pro at the University Tennis Center, and was a member of the Western Varsity team. My involvement in tennis has provided me with enjoyment, opportunity, and lasting relationships. I am very fortunate to be where I am right now, but others are not so lucky. Heart 4 Heart helps ensure that many deserving children grow up and discover their passions, something which everyone deserves. This is why I am a huge supporter for what the charity stands for!

Hi everyone! My name is Salonee Patel and I am currently in my fourth year of the Medical Sciences program at Western University. From the initial introduction, I knew Heart4Heart London was a group I wanted to be a part of. Not only do I get to work with like-minded individuals, but I also get to work towards a good cause. Helping children with CHD is of great importance since they do not have the same access to resources or funds. Outside of H4H, I enjoy hiking, travelling and am always on the hunt for new piano pieces to learn.
Hi there! My name is Hanh Ngo and I am currently enrolled in the MIT (Media, Information and Technoculture) program at Western University. I was born and raised in London, Ontario and I have
A very soft spot for children and the charity that is Heart for Heart. Similar to these children, I was born with a heart defect. Luckily for me I was born into a life where I could afford and had access to medical treatment. Sadly, there are thousands of kids out there who are not as fortunate as I was. With Heart for Heart, I hope to assist in raising funds to give these children the necessary medical treatments and hopefully, make a positive difference in their lives.
Hey there! My name is Katherine Fuller, and I am a Health Sciences student at Western University, currently pursuing an Honors Specialization in Rehabilitation Sciences. I was born and raised in London, ON, and attended high school at A.B. Lucas Secondary School, where I first heard about Heart 4 Heart Charity. Outside of school, my main extracurricular activity is competitive Irish Dance. I compete at both a National and International level. When I heard about Heart 4 Heart, I immediately knew that I wanted to get involved, and do my part to help children with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). Knowing that my fundraising efforts can have such a huge impact on someone’s life is one of the best feelings I could imagine. I am very excited to be able to work with such a dedicated group of students, and assist in improving or saving the lives of children who suffer from CHD.

Hey! I’m Nicole, and I’m in my fourth year of Physiology at Western University. Growing up in Northern Ontario, I spent most of my time hiking, fishing, boating, and playing many sports. I realize that not all children have these same opportunities, and I believe that using our privilege to help those who are in need is very important. During my time at Western, I have seen the hard work and dedication the London chapter puts into this organization, and I am very grateful to now have the opportunity to be part of this team!
Hi! My name is Montana Hackett and I am in my 4th year studying Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences at the University of Western Ontario. I have always had a passion for sports (playing competitive hockey, soccer, volleyball, cross country, and track growing up), I play three instruments, and I am an active participant of London’s volunteering community. I joined Heart for Heart because of how it grants me the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the life of a child less fortunate than myself. I believe that giving back to those less fortunate is an essential part of being a human being and look forward to doing that with my colleagues in Heart for Heart.

Hi there! My name is Nicolas Spagnuolo, and I am currently a mechanical engineering and business dual degree student at Western University and the Richard Ivey School of business. I was born in London, Ontario, and have lived here my whole life. Growing up, I always loved to play sports in my free time, especially hockey. When I was six years old, I was diagnosed with type one diabetes. Spending most of my life with diabetes, I have a personal connection with the work that heart 4 heart does for various less fortunate children. This is the reason that I joined heart 4 heart. With my diabetes creating difficulties at times, I can only imagine what other children with Congenital heart disease have to go through. Heart for heart allows me to help others in need and truly make a positive impact. For these reason, I am very excited to be a member of the heart 4 heart team.
Hi there! My name is Mitchell Sammut and I am a second year BSc Kinesiology student at the University of Western Ontario. I personally love working out and playing a variety of sports such as hockey, soccer, tennis and spikeball with my friends as well as recreationally. I am born and raised in London, Ontario and enjoy giving back to the community whether that be through volunteering at the local food bank, sporting events etc. What initially sparked my interest in Heart4Heart was the awesome opportunity it would give me to help make a profound difference in the lives of many children with very serious health defects (CHD) who can greatly benefit from the money we raise as a group. I hope to continue to help impact the lives of these children and their families through a variety of activities, events, and fun!

Hey there! My name is Fadi Bahodi and I am currently a second-year student at Western University studying medical sciences. Growing up in Iraq, I understood what it is like to not have support and adequate treatment for your healthcare needs. When I first heard of Heart 4 Heart, I fell in love with the idea of providing that necessary support to children in developing countries who were suffering from congenital heart diseases, especially since their treatment is not adequately provided for. In my spare time, I love to write and discuss poetry, as well as going for long jogs and participating in races. I am excited to do my best to help these children and am looking forward to my involvement in Heart 4 Heart this year.

Hello! My name is Aidan Kovacs and I am currently enrolled in my second year at King’s University College in the psychology program. Some of my hobbies include working out, listening to music, and playing soccer. My interest in soccer has lead me to be a part of the Western varsity men’s team, which I only recently made. I was originally intrigued by the opportunity of joining Heart 4 Heart by my brother, Matthew. Seeing his involvement in this great charity which raises money and awareness for Congenital heart disease made me realize that I could make a real difference for kids who are less fortunate. I’m looking forward to what the future holds with this great charity, and I can’t wait for future events!
