Hi, my name is Jasmine. I’m currently in my second year of medical school. I am half Moroccan and half “Quebecoise”. During my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and challenging myself to try new intercultural recipes. I joined Heart4Heart to be part of a bigger movement and make a difference in the health of children around the world!

Hi! I’m Britany and I’m an event planner for the Université de Sherbrooke’s chapter. I come from a small town near Montréal, Canada. I studied physiotherapy for three years at Université de Montréal before starting my medical school journey at Université de Sherbrooke in August of 2024. I love cooking and baking in my free time as I enjoy sharing a nice meal or giving pastries and deserts to the people I cherish. I decided to get involved with Heart4Heart because I foster a deep interest in international health. Moreover, I was exposed to congenital pathologies in children during my third year of physiotherapy as I did an internship in pediatrics with children living with severe developmental delays. This experience taught me so much about their reality as I came to create bonds with these children. I look forward to working with Heart4Heart and my colleagues at Université de Sherbrooke to raise awareness on congenital heart diseases and to help children in need get the care they so profoundly deserve.

I chose to get involved with Heart4Heart because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to live a carefree childhood, free from illness. I’m excited to contribute to this cause by using my experience and passion to raise awareness about heart diseases and support children’s well-being.

VP Fundraiser

Hi! My name is Rania Bennani and I’m a 3rd-year medical student. I’m truly grateful and excited to be part of the Heart4Heart Sherbrooke team as VP Events. For me, creativity and connection are at the center of everything I love, whether it’s drawing, painting, cooking, traveling, enjoying sports, or listening to good music. Being part of this cause means more than organizing events; it’s about using these passions to bring people together and support children in need of lifesaving care. I feel very fortunate to contribute to such a meaningful mission and to grow alongside such an inspiring team.

VP Campaign

Hello! My name is Hirad and I’m a first year medical student originally from Quebec City, where I previously completed my DEC in Health Sciences at CEGEP Champlain St. Lawrence. I’m thrilled to be your designated VP Campaign for the year and to make an immediate impact within the community and abroad with each project put forward! Outside of medicine, I occupy myself with research regarding modern physics and mathematics, following sports (basketball, football, soccer, MMA), and philosophizing with friends. I applied to take part in Heart4Heart as I am fascinated by the intricacies of the cardiovascular system and thus eager to learn more about potential congenital complications related to it. More importantly, however, its mission of raising awareness towards congenital heart disease greatly resonated with me. I view it as an opportunity to make an impact extending beyond my limited scope of influence as a medical student by contributing to providing life-saving surgery to children and giving others the same gift I have of being able to live a long, healthy, and happy life.

Hello everyone!! My name is Mahité and I’m a second-year medical student at the University of Sherbrooke. I was born and raised in Québec City. Some of my greatest passions are dance, sports, drawing, and reading. I’ve always loved getting involved in committees, especially those that make a difference in people’s lives.
